The Mandate

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
You shall have no other gods before me.
–For you shall not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God

The War

Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes…
When they praised the LORD saying, ” He indeed is good for His loving kindness is everlasting,” then the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud,
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty
Let God arise let His enemies be scattered and let those who hate Him flee before Him
“Go, Satan! For it is written, `YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY.’”

The Life Style

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
An hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.
For you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light

The Celebration

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing
After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, “Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen.
