Nick & Lindsey
Nick was born in Anaheim, California in 1982 to his creative and animated missionary parents Stephen Roy and Cindy Ann, who are both still happily married and all googoo eyes for each other (a little gross!). He grew up in both California and a couple years in Germany before moving to Pennsylvania in 1996. From the time he was 5, he thought that when he grew up, he’d be a missionary like his dad. Along the journey, Nick met Lindsey who captured his attention and left him no choice but to ask her to marry him ..which a couple years down the road then lead to two the wonderful and sometimes a little crazy babies in a baby carriage: Zadok (2) and Selah (1). Their family joyfully resides in the little town of Ephrata just down the road from the house of prayer. Nick enjoys running, playing his guitar, and creating designs and things with his camera.
Lindsey was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1989 to her two loving and entrepreneurial parents. After graduating high school, Lindsey spent six months overseas with YWAM, completing three month discipleship trianing school in Chile followed by three months of outreach and preaching of the gospel in Haiti, Dominican Republic and Cuba. Lindsey later Graduated form central pennsylvania college and worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant for three years before becoming a full-time Mom and part-time missionary with her husband at Gateway. Lindsey is a worship leader who loves Jesus and desires to see others grow in their love for the Bridegroom. Lindsey also enjoys travel, spontaneity, entry level photography, DIY activities, running, singing anywhere and everywhere and playing piano.
