PWI | A High School Internship Why PWI by Luke Weaver What is PWI? This is a 5-week internship for students going into 9th grade up until those who have just graduated high school. Join other high school students 4 hours a week on Tuesdays in the Prayer Room at Gateway House of Prayer for teaching, worship and prayer. This will be a life changing experience as you learn to behold the Worthy One, Jesus Christ, and worship Him in spirit and in truth. -The 5-week internship costs $50 (See the application for payment instructions)
-Prayer and Worship Initiative is available for senior high only (Applicant is eligible if they are going into high school).
-PWI will meet once a week on Tuesdays (June 28-July 26) from 8:00 am to noon. The internship lasts 5 weeks.
-Students will also commit to a two-hour watch during the week (see application for options).
-PWI is located at Gateway House of Prayer (70 Clay School Rd., Ephrata PA).
-If you are interested in the Worship Elective, please bring your instrument each week.
-There will be homework assigned each week. The homework will consist of journaling, Scripture memorization, and “elective homework.” Fill out the registration form below and submit both your 1) payment and 2) Parental Release Form to Gateway’s office by June 21. Payments can be made by cash or check (made payable to HarvestNET with PWI noted in the memo). Registration has now closed. Contact email@example.com with any questions.
- PWI has two electives:
- 1. Worship Elective: In this elective, musicians and singers will be trained in prophetic worship and the Harp and Bowl model. The training will consist of playing and singing in the prayer room, individual coaching, and Biblical teachings. Musicians and signers will be have weekly assignments that help them grow in their gifting and help them draw near to God’s heart.
- 2. Prayer Elective: The prayer elective is aimed to raise up intercessors. Prayer members will have “hands on training” on how to prayer lead in the house of prayer, how to lead a prayer meeting, and how to pray Biblical apostolic prayers. They will also have weekly assignments and scripture memory that correlate with intercession.
